I was invited to be interviewed by the the quirky and popular show in Ireland, The Ray D’Arcy Show. It was an interesting interview. Sometimes I have 4 or more interviews a week and this past week was a busy one, with this interview being sandwiched between two others. It was the basics of what Unschooling philosophy is all about. The interviewer, Anton seemed a but antagonistic, or maybe he was playing the Devil’s advocate, which is common for interviews where I introduce the concepts of freedom and respect toward children. The difficult aspect of international interviews is the time difference. I had to wake up at 5:30am for this one, so I was doing jumping jacks while pounding coffee in my kitchen to wake up enough to sound coherent. You do what you gotta do! Sometimes that makes for a good interview with me though, because I take the intense energy that I normally have down a notch to peaceful and relaxed.
